A Simple Country Garden

My simple country garden is a place that I  want to spend time in, whether it’s working hard or sipping tea while sitting on my little wooden  seat, pondering the the new buds appearing or the tomatoes ripening on the vine.

It’s full of flowers and bee loving plants, many of them grown from cuttings given to me by friends and family. These create a lovely reminder of the people that have given them to me, some of those people are no longer here but their flowers shine on. It’s rambling. My garden always ends up this way and I love it. It makes me feel secluded when I’m in it, although it does take quite a lot of years for it to feel like the hidden oasis I’m always aiming for.. It has  veggies and fruit trees and I just really love it!

Here are some blog posts about Simple Country Gardens. Some are about my garden. Some are a sticky beak into other people’s little garden havens. There are posts about lazy gardening and veggies and posts with  lots of pretty  rose photos. I hope you enjoy meandering around these pages.
