All good Victorian road trips lead to Melbourne.
After our lovely time in the ultra relaxing, Venus Bay, we headed to the big smoke of Melbourne. It was a quick part of our trip as we had only time for one night in the city but it was jam packed with fun and food and family and friends and footy. Yep, all those f’s!
Here are some shots of our time and a brief listy run down on what we did.
Walking the inner city streets, drooling over the tapestry of old rooftops, tiny front gardens and terrace houses, pretty leafy streets.
YumCha at the Shark Fin House in China Town.
Gazing at cool graffiti in alley ways.
Eating breakfast in a funky little café with a curved, timber ceiling, in Brunswick with friends.
Meeting family and molding into a new one.
Catching up with old friends.
Joining in the Victorian spirit at the footy and becoming mesmerised by the excitement and the loyalty of AFL supporters at the MCG.
Cheering on the Richmond Tigers as they beat Melbourne at the MCG.
Watching the Light Horse Brigade parading to the MCG.
Kicking the footy through the city parks and sipping drinks on our way to the MCG.
Lollies in the car as we sang to Ed Sheeran.
And then it was home again, home again, jiggity jig.
Until next time, Melbourne.
