I’m so sorry that I haven’t been around these parts for a while. So much has been going on. So much that I have felt too overwhelmed to blog. I’ve needed to take some time to get my head around my goals and sift through the layers of post ideas and bloggy hopes that have been clouding my mind lately. A bit of cleaning out of the cobwebs, so to speak and preparing myself for a new year of blogging with determination, motivation and a lot more plan.
My head is whirling and dancing with blog posts and new little series that will be happening here over the next few weeks and an exciting new adventure that I’m hoping will take off sooner rather than later and a few road trips thrown in for good measure. And, of course, there’s the normal run of the mill day-to-day goings on at both mine and Pete’s places that have needed tending to – parenting, cleaning, cooking, mowing, gardening, pickling our garden surplus, trying to stay in touch with family and friends … you know, the normal stuff that we all struggle to balance.
Pete’s eggplants became part of a vegan lasagne.

But amongst the chaos and the coming and going we have been having fun concocting ideas and airing our thoughts about Feather & Nest and it’s future. And I ahve to say, I’m feeling pretty excited about some up and coming posts and some of the joint ideas that Pete and I have been coming up with and I really hope they’ll be to your liking too.
Anyway, I really just wanted to touch base with you all here at this little Feather & Nesty corner of my world and let you know that things will becoming a little busier here really soon and that my slackness at getting words and photos to page is about to end. So be prepared for a lot more ramblings from both Pete and I in the very near future.
So until then, happy weekend!
